Before sunrise: pickup from your riad
Your morning starts early. Depending on the flight and pickup time you choose, our driver collects you at 4:00 or 5:00 from your riad, hotel or the location you shared with us, then drives you out of the city to the launch site.
Tea and coffee at the launch site
When you arrive, we welcome you with hot tea and coffee. Watch the crew lay out the balloon, fill it with cold air, then heat it with the burner until it rises upright. Before take-off, the pilot gives every passenger a short safety briefing.
40 minutes above the desert
The balloon lifts off gently and drifts with the wind. There is no feeling of speed, only quiet and space. As the sun rises, the light changes over the red earth, the villages and the palm trees, with the Atlas Mountains on the horizon on clear mornings.
Landing and Moroccan breakfast
After landing, you sit down to a typical Moroccan buffet breakfast with mint tea and coffee: the kind of breakfast Moroccan families share, with breads, pancakes, honey and olive oil.
Your calligraphy flight certificate
Every passenger receives a personalised flight certificate with their name written in Arabic calligraphy. It's the reason we ask for each passenger's full name when you book.
Back to Marrakech
We drive you back to your pickup point. From pickup to drop-off, the whole trip takes 3 to 4 hours, so you still have most of the day ahead of you.
